Re: Repairing Broken Bass Drum Hoops I would encourage y'all to move the cleft out from under the lug. That is placing the most stress on the weak point.

Call back about a stave snare drum vanquish.. that's all just wood glued together and I've seen people spring on a stave beat and not break them vs a plied snare.Plus, this is the resonant head and so I'm not putting a lot of pressure on information technology as I'thousand non tightening information technology down much.
